A: Club meetings are an informal gathering of members (new members always welcome, the club is always free) where everyone is always welcome to bring in their photos or lap top slide show presentations. Members mingle and simply talk about photography in general in a completely informal setting. WPGphoto Monthly Workshop -Date: June 9, 2008 -Time: 7pm -Location: Oakenwald School @ 666 Oakenwald Ave - In the library This month's topic(s): -Lens tests by Dan Harper (and if we have time general tips for photo processing) Have you ever wondered why one lens costs $100 and another lens costs $2200? Dan has been testing every lens he owns (and a bunch he doesn't) in order to show you the difference. From the Sigma 10-20mm to the Nikon 600mm F4, come see the amazing difference in quality and a real visual demonstration of why "you get what you pay for". Also, if we have time, we will be looking at general photo processing where everyone is welcome to bring their RAW and other tips and tricks.
