WPGphoto exists to promote the hobby and career of photography. There is no fee to join or participate on the web site or in club events. As an added bonus, people who participate at a level that helps others and the club grow are given special perks as thanks. What is a WPGphoto contributing member(WPCM)? Basically put, a WPGphoto Contributing Member (WPCM or CM) is someone who participates often in and is very visible at club events, activities and on the forum. Specifics for eligibility: -Attend 2/3rds of the club meetings and events -Participate often in forum discussion (5-10 messages/wk on average) -The submission of reviews and photos for assignments will also work towards eligibility -The donation of door prizes for club meetings or for contests will also work towards eligibility or being a sponsor or supporter of the club *In order to be eligible you must submit your full name and main e-mail address (no other information required) so that you can be added to a protected list available only to retailers that need the list to give you the special pricing) **WPGphoto reserves the right to deny or discontinue the eligibility of any member at any time. What do contributing members receive? -Discounts on printing at Don's Photo (Portage location) After applying for and being accepted as a contributing member you are eligible to sign up at Don's Photo. You must talk to any of the managers at that location in order to be signed up. -Discounts on printing at Monart (902 St. James St. location) -Door prizes at meetings and events (whenever available) How can I become a contributing member? -In order to be considered a contributing member of WPGphoto you must meet the above criteria and continue to meet this criteria on an ongoing basis.
